I have always loved the idea of
dancing but have never participated in structured dance classes, except for the
bush dance classes I had to take in my primary schools years. In my travels to
South America I have learnt the basics of salsa by taking the hand of
experienced dancers and being led through the steps. I have imitated hip-hop
moves on dance floors, without consciously paying attention to the details. The
opportunity to learn more about dance, and how to incorporate it into the
curriculum excites me. ECA410 is my Primary Arts elective. Welcome to my Dance
space, where I will reflect upon my experiences. Come along for the journey!
